USCF Rated Tournaments offered – DETAILS
In order to offer a flexible and convenient way of signing up for your next Rated Tournament, we have adopted the continuous (open end) Tournament enrollment concept. You can sign up for a Tournament of your choice (Quad, Super Quad or Challenge Match) at any time. As soon as we have four players – for Quads – or two players – for Challenge Match – you will be able to start the competition.
- A Quad Tournament is a group of four players, to play each other one game, for a Total of three games per player. (Disadvantage – you might end up playing 2 games with black pieces).
- A Super Quad Tournament is a group of four players, to play each other two games, for a Total of six games per player. (Advantage – you will play an equal number of games with white and black).
- Challenge Match (USCF Rated games). Anyone could challenge his/her preferred opponent for a four game Match (2W/2B) – Both players should be rated players, and the rating difference not more than 400 pts. When the opponent accepts your challenge, you can start the Match, as soon as both players have provided a completed Entry form and the required fee.
NOTE : For Entry Fees, please see the Tournament Fees Schedule.
